FAQ

Dr. Horsch and her assistant will arrive at your home during the scheduled time frame.   We provide a half hour window to allow for travel delays or other incidental delays. We will have the equipment we need to examine your pet, administer vaccines, perform diagnostic testing like blood pressure and labwork, and print out a record of your pet’s health status. We can also dispense medications, or leave written prescriptions to be filled elsewhere. At the end of the visit, you may pay via check or Venmo. Dr. Horsch will call or email you with lab results and any follow up recommendations.

Besides convenience for you, a home visit offers many advantages to your pet. They will be in their home where they feel comfortable and safe. Blood pressure, heart rate, and other vital parameters will be closer to normal than they will be in a hospital setting, allowing for a more accurate clinical picture of your pet. I can also observe the environment, which helps me to counsel clients regarding behavioral concerns and maximizing pet comfort.

Our target clientele is within Ozaukee County, which allows us to minimize travel time. Exceptions can be made for exceptional pets and people.
